We just love that we live in a city that supports small business, and local makers. When folks ask me what I love about Portland I always wax poetic about how I don’t actually have to shop at a large chain for anything, you can find almost anything you want made or purchased from a local shop. I’ve never lived in another city like this! The small businesses and small makers are one of the things keeping Portland so damn cool and unique!

As far as Portland goes, Canoe has been a long time fave for unique and gorgeous homewares. Right before the pandemic they moved locations, so if you’ve had a hard time finding them, that’s why.
